Overview

AI agents are only as good as the data they can trust. Australian Trusted Data Oracle gives AI agents and other automated systems a single, verifiable source for Australian pricing and index data (commodity and trade price indices, tariff and customs reference data, agricultural commodity prices and more), with every data point checked against multiple sources and cryptographically signed so it can be traced back to where it came from.

Australian Trusted Data Oracle is operated by DNY Cross Border Group and governed by an oracle council rather than a single commercial operator. The council decides what is published, reviews incidents and publishes transparency reports.

Data it covers

  • Commodity and trade price indices
  • Agricultural commodity prices
  • International merchandise trade statistics
  • Tariff, customs and trade-agreement reference data
  • Export certification and compliance records
  • Environmental and emissions registers
How It Works

Verified data, not a black box

01

Multi-source verification

Every figure is cross-checked against multiple authoritative sources before it's published, rather than taken from a single feed.

02

Cryptographic proof of origin

Data is signed and time-stamped so any AI agent or system calling it can verify where it came from and confirm it hasn't been altered.

03

Public accountability

Held to account by an oracle council rather than a single commercial operator, with new data sources and incidents reviewed in the open.

Governance

Governed by an oracle council

Australian Trusted Data Oracle is governed by an oracle council made up of industry-association representatives, independent technical and security auditors, and the DNY operating team, not by a single commercial operator. The council is responsible for approving new data sources, reviewing incidents, and publishing transparency reports.

Its purpose is trusted, verifiable data infrastructure for AI agents and the wider trade ecosystem. Where fees are charged, they are applied to running and maintaining the platform, as described below.

Funding & Use of Fees

Where the money goes

Where the platform charges for access, for example for higher-volume queries or an enterprise SLA, those fees are applied to operating and maintaining the platform, and to developing Australia's trade infrastructure. DNY takes no margin on the data itself.

The oracle council publishes transparency reports covering how funds are used.

DNY Cross Border Group Pty Ltd operates this service. It is not a registered charity and does not seek donations. Nothing on this page is an offer of securities or a commitment to supply.
