Overview

AI agents are only as good as the data they can trust. Australia AI Oracle gives AI agents and other automated systems a single, verifiable source for Australian pricing and index data — commodity and trade price indices, tariff and customs reference data, agricultural commodity prices and more — with every data point checked against multiple sources and cryptographically signed so it can be traced back to where it came from.

Unlike a typical commercial data vendor, Australia AI Oracle isn't run for private profit. It's organised as a not-for-profit DAO, governed by an oracle council rather than a single company.

Data it covers

  • Commodity and trade price indices
  • Agricultural commodity prices
  • International merchandise trade statistics
  • Tariff, customs and trade-agreement reference data
  • Export certification and compliance records
  • Environmental and emissions registers
How It Works

Verified data, not a black box

01

Multi-source verification

Every figure is cross-checked against multiple authoritative sources before it's published, rather than taken from a single feed.

02

Cryptographic proof of origin

Data is signed and time-stamped so any AI agent or system calling it can verify where it came from and confirm it hasn't been altered.

03

Public accountability

Held to account by an oracle council rather than a single commercial operator, with new data sources and incidents reviewed in the open.

Governance

Run as a DAO, not a company

Australia AI Oracle is governed by an oracle council made up of industry-association representatives, independent technical and security auditors, and the DNY operating team — not by a single commercial operator. The council is responsible for approving new data sources, reviewing incidents, and publishing transparency reports.

It's structured as a not-for-profit: the purpose is trusted, verifiable data infrastructure for AI agents and the wider trade ecosystem — not a revenue line for DNY.

Funding & Use of Fees

Where the money goes

Where the platform charges for access — for example, higher-volume queries or an enterprise SLA — those fees are not distributed as profit. They go entirely toward operating and maintaining the platform, and toward supporting and advancing the development of Australia's trade infrastructure and its future.

No private party takes a margin on the data itself. The oracle council publishes transparency reports covering how funds are used.
